Early this morning my lungs felt like they'd mutinied. It was the second worst allergy induced asthma attack I've had. Usually its pretty mild and taking an anthihistamine will clear things up pretty quick. But not last night. In the end I spent about five minutes in the bathroom breathing in steam and that calmed me down enough to think about trying to sleep.

I think I might have to give in and go get a ventolin inhaler. But I've been avoiding it because I've heard evil stories about people who start using one occasionally, and end up with such a dependancy that they can't walk up stairs without needing a fix.

Right now my asthma attacks are pretty scattered. Severe allergens can bring one on, or severe stress.. but they're rare and I'd like to keep it that way.

Another thing. I do want to go see an Allergist at some point in the near future. But I am waiting for my job to start so that I have wheels. There are no doctors taking new patients in Orangeville, so I'll have to go to Caledon East and see my mom's doctor. I'd also like to see a homeopath or naturopath. There's a good one in Shelburne.. but expensive, so again, after I start work again. Just gotta wait but I am not a very patient person sometimes.
