On another note.. I did this and now I am thinking, WHAT WAS I THINKING!!! I just figured, breau did it, so I would too. But I looked over the score sheet and it really doesn't apply to me. I haven't changed my journal format at all, I don't have a bio (I just have some (i think) unique interests instead), I don't use "Subjects" or smilies or list my music (I'm pretty much just a plain ol'text jockey), and I don't really write these entries for any particular audience. I write to vent, spew, laugh, and share news with my on-line friends. Anyhow, when my score is low (cuz it has to be, looking at the format), I've decided not to worry too much about it. heh heh. Oh wait, if you're the reviewer, just ignore this little post, okay?
Let's see... oh, I remember what I wanted to ask. With a coworker, I'm trying to put together something (haven't decided the format yet, but possibly a letter) to challenge our employer to take anti-opression education more seriously and not just make the "anti-racism" component of our training a "1 hour session" that everyone attends, but to incorporate it into the basic objectives and overall tone of the week long training. We work in cross-cultural exchanges, so dealing with racism/oppression is a pretty big part of our job. Anyhow, if anyone has some good resources with respect to anti-oppression education or if anyone has had some good experiences with programs in their own workplace I'd love to hear about it. Thanks.
